Nora Aunor backs out of It’s Showtime guesting.
The 63-year-old superstar Nora Aunor was supposed to appear in ABS-CBN’s noontime show It’s Showtime to be the main judge on the grand finals of Tawag ng Tanghalan.
But people have left in confusion after the announcement of “Eat Bulaga” that Nora Aunor will visit their show on Saturday, March 11.
In an exclusive interview with Pep.ph, through a phone call, Nora confirmed that she will be guesting Eat Bulaga after Tito Sotto invited her to be their guest on their show on Saturday.
The superstar admitted, “Malaki and utang na loob ko kay Tito Sen. Hindi ko siya puweding tanggihan.”
In her most shocking revelation, Nora Aunor revealed that she decided to back out and decline the invitation of “It’s Showtime” to become their special judge on the segment’s grand finals scheduled on March 11.
“Nag-back out ako dahil hindi ko kaya si Vice Ganda. Hindi kaya ng puso ko ang pambabastos na ginawa sa akin ni Vice Ganda,” Nora said through a text message.
According to the report of Pep.ph, the business unit head of It’s Showtime, Railey Santiago also confirmed the cancellation of the guesting of the superstar in Tawag ng Tanghalan.
Nora Aunor confirmed her withdrawal through an SMS that she sent to PEP.ph.
She wrote: “Oo, Nag back out na talaga ako. Hindi ko kaya si Vice Ganda.”
When asked to clarify which issue is exactly pertaining to, the superstar explained, “Yung usual na ginagawa niya na magsalita pero may pinatatamaan.”
As of writing, Vice Ganda and his Management has not yet issued any statement as a response to the issue.
Nora found her career in the Philippine showbiz Industry after winning Tawag ng Tanghalan in 1968. Because of this, she was invited to be the Grand finals judge. However, Nora Aunor decided to back out and decline the invitation.
