Pinay netizen took to social media and shared her horrible experience with a Facebook scammer who offered her a job as ‘Clean PR.’
Social media sites such as Facebook and their immense user base are prone to scams most of the time.
Facebook is the most popular sites in the world that has about 1.4 billion of users making it potentially the most active social media site for the hackers.
It is also the bigger and popular sites with the huge number of visitors are like hackers’ wonderland for posting scams.
Take this story as an example.
A Facebook user named Richelle Yambao Cudiamat took to social media and shared her terrible experience with another user who offered her a job as PR for a family within three hours only.
Richelle revealed the named of the Facebook user as Samonte Nhics Andrea.
In a lengthy Facebook page of Richelle she shared that according to Andrea, the Family is in the area for a vacation and was currently staying in a casino. Richelle was told that the family is willing to pay an amount of P7,000 with an additional allowance of P500 plus her food.
For the sake of her child, Richelle agreed to grab the offer. However, when the rules were said to her, she noticed that there is something wrong.
The people whom she was transacting with, wants to get her mobile number because of some rules that should be followed.
When she met with her handler, who gave her a short briefing about what she supposed to do, she was then asked to surrender all her stuff and to remove her phone’s password, which she agreed to do so.
She was then instructed to go to the casino alone and when she arrived at the place, she was taken aback when she realized that the place was a motel and not a casino.
She then realized that she was scammed and fallen as a victim by these crooks.
She immediately shared her horrible experienced on Facebook and posted the Facebook profile of the scammers, including the conversation for other person’s awareness.
The Facebook post of Richelle has caught the attention of the netizens on social media and went viral.
Many of social media users were concerned for her, while others were hoping that can find a better job.
