GREEN ALGAE – A netizen who works in a hotel in Boracay Island, Philippines captured the green algae on the seashore of one of the country’s most-visited tourist destinations.
Recently, one Facebook user shared on the social media two attention-grabbing photos showing the beach in Boracay. The said netizen is Santi Villasor Tacuban.
On the caption of the photos posted in the netizen’s Facebook account, the netizen mentioned the “green algae on the seashore of Boracay”. He then posted a question if it is clean.
Based on the posted photos, it can be seen that though the sand is still white as it is always known to be, it looks like the color of the water has changed or it could be due to the reflection of the green algae that the netizen mentioned on his post.
There are some netizens who dropped their reactions to the post through comments.
According to one netizen, three years ago, the green algae already exist on the beach.
One Facebook user posted a question via comment if what happened to the beach while another Facebook user expressed in her comment that the water is probably not clear anymore.
The Boracay Island is undeniably one of the most-visited and known places not just within the Philippines but as well as outside of the country. Usually, there are lots of foreigners who visit the place which is known for its white-sand beach most especially during the summer season.
Aside from the beach, there are lots of amenities within the area in which people can really get themselves entertained as they stay on the island and there are also lots of hotels and pension houses that offer accommodation at certain prices.
