An image allegedly resembling the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared in Misamis Oriental.

IMAGE – An image allegedly similar to the figure of the Blessed Virgin Mary draw people’s attention in Balingoan, Misamis Oriental.

Recently, a feature report about a mysterious image in Balingoan, Misamis Oriental crossed the social media. The said report about the image allegedly resembling the Blessed Virgin Mary was posted on the Facebook page Rmn Dxbc Butuan.

According to the post, the image allegedly resembling the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared in a wall of an establishment owned by Kagawad Jay-are Corales. The residents thought the image to be close to the figure of Our Lady of Fatima or the Our Lady of Lourdes.

Based on the post, Corales narrated that he saw the figure on Monday morning, however, he did not mind it as he thought it is just the droplets of water that formed the image.

When he came back in the afternoon, he saw that the image resembles the Blessed Virgin Mary holding a rosary bead. According to the post, even the establishment owner could not explain what it means.

Meanwhile, it is stated that he believes that it possibly conveys a message that the Our Lady of Fatima in the nearby island is not being cleaned and visited anymore.

There are also those who believe that the message of the appearance of the image is connected with the image of the Blessed Virgin Mary that has been put under the Duka Bay in Medina, Misamis Oriental.

According to the post, lots of people visit the place to wipe the image with their handkerchiefs and to offer candles and flowers.

As what can be seen on the photo posted, there is already a small altar with a flower and a candle in front of the mysterious image. Lots of netizens expressed their reactions to the post via comments.

One netizen stated that it should be investigated by the ChurIch because it could be possibly a work of the devil while another netizen, in his comment, asked those who do not believe to just keep quiet if they don’t believe it.

While most of the netizens commented “amen” on the photo, there is also a Facebook user who stated “deception” in her comment.

Meanwhile, one Facebook user asked those who are not Catholic to just keep quiet.

“Ang iban diri lain ang religion indi Catholic anu pa kng anu anu napang wakal nyu,” the netizen stated.

[Others here have a different religion and are not Catholic that is why they say anything.]
