Manila, Philippines – A CCTV footage posted on Facebook went viral after showing how a new modus operandi Palit-Pera Gang works.

One of the most effective ways of providing security in the home and place of work is CCTV cameras and equipment.

CCTV cameras act as a very successful deterrent to thieves and burglars, certainly making them think twice at the very least.

With crime increasing and burglars, CCTV cameras are used as a helpful tool in resolving incidents and complaints by providing a more accurate record of events.

Pinoy thief caught on video pretending as a customer at a spa has caught the attention of the Pinoy online community.

The video footage of the stealing incident was shared by YouScoop on Facebook.

According to a report of GMA news, the incident happened at a spa somewhere in Las Piñas City.

The suspect acted like a customer at a spa and requested for two reservation. The customer immediately paid the service costs P2,100.

As the cashier was processing their reservation, the man can be seen in the video going through his shoulder bag and looking for something inside.

After he noticed that there is a CCTV camera at the spa, the man changed his mind and told the cashier that they will have to eat first instead so he asked to give his money back.

When the cashier gave the money back, the suspect immediately takes the three pieces of P1,000 peso bill and replace it with three pieces of P100 peso bill.

The suspect then claimed that the money given to him was P300 only so the unsuspecting cashier exchanged the P300 for P3,000.

After being successful with his sneaky crime, the suspect then goes out of the spa in a calm and relax manner.

The video that was shared on Facebook serves as a warning to all netizens about a group of swindlers with a new modus operandi known as the Palit-Pera Gang.
