DUTERTE BREAKS – After retired police officer SPO3 Arthur Lascañas expressed his claims against Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte, the Chief Executive has finally broken his silence regarding the cop’s allegations.

The claims of SPO3 Lascañas has undeniably sparked lots of news headlines and elicited various reactions. Recently, a news report entailing the response of the President to the retired cop broke in.

Based on a recent news report in ABS-CBN News, the President who has served Davao City for more than two decades admitted that there is a fact that people who have committed crimes in Davao were killed.

The President said that he has been running after the illegal drug trade  for 23 years and the deaths could have raised to thousands but the allegation only entailed hundreds.

“Twenty-three years akong mayor kahahabol ng droga. Dapat dumating iyan sa libo, eh sabi niya by the hundreds lang. Why would I deny that?” Pres. Duterte said based on the report.

However, the Chief Executive claimed that the killings happened during legitimate operations as he has given the cops permission to do it in case a drug suspect would threaten the lives of the authorities.

Based on a previous news report, SPO3 Lascañas claimed that Pres. Duterte, way back when he was still Mayor of Davao City, has paid his group P3 million to kill a radio broadcaster – Jun Pala.

According to the retired police officer, the then-Mayor of Davao City was really mad at Jun Pala for the radio broadcaster always attacks him in his radio station.

In another news report, it is stated that self-confessed ‘hitman’ Edgar Matobato feel happy for the move of the retired police officer as it somehow supported his previous claims regarding the existence of the alleged Davao Death Squad.
