A popular Facebook page ‘Tambayan ni Berto Worldwide’ posted a story of a man who beat up a street child for hitting the man’s child. The violent man beat up hit the street child as a revenge for hurting his kid.
The post garnered different comments and reactions from netizen. There are some netizens who expressed their anger and disappointment to the man for violence against the street kid, while there are some supporting him for teaching the street kid a lesson that he will never forget.
Netizens said that the violent man allegedly violated the Under the Republic Act 7610 or Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act. Social media users explained that the man should bring the street kid in the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) instead of hurting the street kid.
