STUDENTS – The happy moments of the students of Bestlink College of the Philippines were captured in photos before the accident in Tanay, Rizal happened.
Recently, news reports regarding the accident in Tanay, Rizal broke in. Based on an Inquirer news report, the accident left 13 of the bus passengers and the driver dead according to the authorities.
The accident happened in Tanay when the bus carrying not less than 58 passengers who are bound for a camping trip reportedly lost its brakes and rammed an electric post yesterday around 8:45 in the morning. The impact was so strong that even a big part of the bus’ roof has been almost removed.

“They could have been running too fast that when they hit the post, the impact was too strong the roof of the bus almost got detached,” said Carlos Inofre of the Tanay town government.
According to Tanay disaster response officer Berlito Bati Jr., 10 of those who were left dead by the accident lost their lives on the spot while the other four died in two hospitals where they were brought.
The municipal officers said that there were over 40 others who were brought to hospitals and are left injured by the incident. There are those who are in critical condition based on the report.
According to Danny Gutierrez, a driver of a garbage truck, some of those who survived the accident cried while others were left with broken legs.
Based on the report, the mother of one of the passengers, Nenita Ragua, shared that her daughter and the other people inside the bus remembered that there was an odd smell before the accident happened. The smell was like a burnt tire.
On YouTube, a video uploaded by TNP – Trending News Portal entailed the happy moments of the bus passengers captured in photos.
According to the video, at 5:00 in the morning, before the departure of the bus, one of the students, Sam Garcia Vidal, has even posted a photo on Facebook while they were inside the bus.
