Furthermore, Panelo said that it already depends on the banks if they will release the information regarding the bank transactions of the President.

Based on the news report, speaking to an interview with dzRB radio station, Presidential Spokesperson Ernesto Abella said that he could not really determine if Pres. Duterte would file charges against Sen. Trillanes in case that his accusations against the Chief Executive would not be proven to be true.

He also expressed that the matters depend on the Anti-Money Laundering Council as of the moment.

“I don’t know about the filing of charges but it—everything depends on AMLC I suppose right now to do what they need to do,” the Presidential Spokesperson said based on the news report.

Based on a previous news report, Sen. Trillanes who is a staunch critic of the President has revived the issue regarding the alleged hidden wealth of the then Mayor of Davao City.
