Netizen shares a video of motorist who ignored to give way to an emergency vehicle on the road has gone viral on social media.
Road rules around emergency vehicles have to be followed to ensure all roads are safe.
These roads are easy to understand – do not block or move into the path of an emergency vehicle when they are using their lights of sire.
But this motorist refused to follow the rules.
A dashcam video showing a motorist who refuses to give way to an emergency vehicle went viral.
Facebook user Mike Ofiana shared the video of Markjay Presnede Pulumbarit on Facebook to remind the motorist to observe a simple road courtesy rule.
In his Facebook post, he pointed out the attitude of the motorist who don’t know how to follow the road rules around the emergency vehicles.
The video footage of the incident showed that the motorist is ignoring to give way to the emergency vehicle driving behind him/her.
The motorist can be seen on the video blocking the path of the emergency vehicle.
Ofiana noted in his post saying, “do not follow the example set by the driver on the video.”
The video that was posted on Facebook has gained thousands of views and reactions after it has been shared by netizens who were not only angry about the unacceptable behavior of the motorist but were also urging other drivers to observe the simple road courtesy.
The video earned mixed reactions on the social media. Netizens were quick and lambasted the motorist who ignored the road courtesy in the video.
“Yan yung mga atat makabili ng sasakyan eh. Sana road etiquette muna binili mo kung di mo kayang matutunan. Hays,” netizen said.
“Ako bilang driver ng emergency vehicle, marami na akong naranasang ganyang klase ng tao, simple lang naman gngawa ko jan at sna maging pointers din ito sa mga DPO, sagiin nyo or ung side mirror, walang mggwa yan kahit saan korte pa kayo umabot. PS; pag may EMERGENCY NA RESPONDE LANG,” netizen said.
