CCTV footage caught a female thief in her sneaky crime.
CCTV footage showing a woman tried to trick the cashier by switching the bills has caught the attention of the Pinoy online community.
The video footage of the incident was shared by a certain Facebook user named Michael Tumagan on social media went viral.
The stealing incident has reportedly happened in a Red Ribbon store, one of the most popular pastry store in the country.
The CCTV footage shows that the woman entered the store and walk directly to the cashier to change her 500 Peso bill and five 100 peso bills into a 1000 peso bill.
The cashier can be seen on the video took the money of the woman and count it, he immediately changes the money and gave the woman her one thousand peso bill.
As the male cashier is about to put the money to the machine, the woman immediately switched the 1000 peso bill to a 100 peso bill.
Perhaps without the knowledge that there is a CCTV camera in the store, the woman tried to negotiate with the cashier and convince that what he gave is only 100 peso bill.
The male cashier insisted that the change given to her was right since it has been counted in front of her.
Fortunately, the cahier is smart enough not to fall into the sneaky trick of the female thief. In the end, the woman failed to convince the cashier and just left the store.
The video that was shared by a Facebook user on social media has now millions of views and gained thousands of reactions after it has been shared by netizens who were not only shocked but were also outraged by the actions of the sneaky thief.
“Dapat pinahuhuli niyo sa guard. Marami pa yang ma bibiktima eh. tapos tatawag kayo ng pulis. My ebedensya naman eh.Hindi na makakapalag yan,” netizen said.
The video of the incident proves that cameras and other gadgets are not just used to record our daily activities but were also used as a useful tool to record an evidence just like this incident.
