Kris Bernal is living her dream now
Actress Kris Bernal shared that she really wanted to be part of the entertainment industry, and fortunately, she was able to achieve her dream.
Kris is one of the products of talent searches in the Philippine entertainment industry. She was hailed as the winner of the fourth season of the Kapuso talent search StarStruck in 2006.
From that, she became an in-demand actress and has done various projects during the height of her career, especially during her loveteam partnership with actor Aljur Abrenica.
A time came when Kris Bernal had to lie low, and that was the time when she got pregnant with her first baby with her husband, businessman Perry Choi.
Even though she was not active in showbiz at that time, Kris was still doing social media content and vlogs.
This year marked her acting comeback through the Kapuso series House of Lies with Beauty Gonzalez, Mike Tan, and Martin Del Rosario. In a recent interview for this new project, based on the article in Manila Bulletin, Kris shared that it has been her dream since she was young to be an actress.
“Gustong-gusto ko talagang mag-artista. Bata pa lang ako noon ginagaya ko si Judy Ann Santos,” she shared. Kris also shared that every time there was a shooting near their area, she would really dress up.
Then, she said that since she was already desperate to be an actress, it was okay for her to be just a passerby in scenes. “Sa background lang talaga ako,” she shared.
Kris also revealed that she auditioned for the Kapamilya reality show Pinoy Big Brother, but unfortunately, she was not able to enter. After that failed audition, she auditioned for StarStruck Batch 4, and she was able to enter. From that, Kris Bernal’s career in showbiz blossomed.
Previously, she shared that after her long break from acting, it felt like she was starting all over again. However, she stressed that she was really excited about her new project.
