Netizen Krizette Laureta Chu took to social media her call for the public ‘not to condemn the Church’s condemnation’. In the post which can be found on her Facebook account, Chu stressed that within the twelve apostles, there is Judas.

The netizen emphasized that the public already has already an idea that the ‘Catholic Church condemned the killings’. She stated that Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte still took the position despite the campaigns of the priests against him.

“This is proof that the Church does not hold major sway among the most of us anymore. So please relax and do not condemn the Church’s condemnation,” Chu stated.

Furthermore, Chu said that the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines is no longer capable of calling the public to make some action ‘the way Jaime Cardinal Sin had’.

The netizen also stated that on February 25, if the Church will ‘call out for People Power’, they will get into the realization ‘how non existent’ is the power they think they have.

“Tao lang sila, at kahit tama sila na mali pumatay, mali sila sa pag aakala na state sponsored ang murders,” the netizen stated.

[They are just humans and even though they are right that killing is wrong, they are wrong in thinking that the killings are sponsored by the stated.]

Moreover, Chu emphasized in her post that no one was able to prove the allegation when Pres. Duterte was still a mayor and ‘no one will prove it that he’s President’.
