Mocha Uson posted her response to the criticism of G Toengi regarding her appointment in the MTRCB.
Mocha Uson’s social media post went viral after she justified her qualification as a member of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB).
Recently, a video of Presidential Communications Sec. Martin Andanar during a press briefing has sparked lots of news headlines and elicited different reactions from the people.
Based on a previous news report, Sec. Andanar was asked by G Toengi during the conference about the qualifications of Mocha Uson in her new post in the MTRCB.
In response to the well-known personality in the Philippines, Sec. Andanar said that the people have trusted and have confidence in Pres. Rodrigo Duterte to lead the nation. He said that it was the President’s decision and for him, it should be respected.
In the later part of the video, Maharlika could be seen defending Mocha Uson. Maharlika added to the response of the President Communications Secretary to G Toengi’s question and said that Mocha Uson has a bachelor degree.
However, G Toengi reacted and said that her degree is in medicine. Maharlika pointed out that the blogger wanted to serve the country. She said that there were even some congressmen who are not qualified.
Recently, a social media post in Mocha Uson Blog went viral after the entertainer-turned-blogger reacted to the criticism of G Toengi regarding her MTRCB appointment.
In her post, Mocha stated that there were lots of people who have sent her a message regarding the video. She expressed her thanks to Maharlika who stood up and encouraged the people to become like her.
To G Toengi, Mocha said that her question’s clearly not looking for an answer but a criticism on the decision of the President. The blogger cited the section two of Presidential Decree No. 1986.
Mocha stated that she is a Filipino, 21 years of age, and has no criminal record. The blogger stated an admission that she does not feel comfortable in justifying why she is qualified to be a board member of the MTRCB.
Moreover, she also expressed that she did not question the appointment of Sen. Grace Poe during the term of former Pres. Benigno Aquino III as the chairman of MTRCB.
“Now if you are trying to question my appointment as BOARD MEMBER then why didn’t you question the appointed MTRCB CHAIRMAN of AQUINO?” Mocha stated.
The post has already reached more than fourteen thousand shares and gained around eleven thousand comments as of Thursday.
