January 21, the Candidates of the 65th Miss Universe will be having a fashion show that will be held at the SMX Convention Center.
The Miss Universe Candidates from around the world are busy traveling the streets of Manila and around the Philippines. They’re here early in preparation for the biggest beauty pageant to explore the beauty of our country.
Thanks to the help of the reigning Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, the Philippines will host this year.
Now what we have in the competition are the best of the best of the respective countries competing to win or wear that sash and compete for the Miss Universe crown.
According to DoT Secretary Wanda Teo, candidates will be split into groups and will visit several destinations in the Philippines for their official activities. Locations to be visited include Albay, Bicol, Baguio, Cebu, Iloilo, among others.

In a recent report, the 86 candidates of the Miss Universe 2016 pageant traveled to Cebu on Tuesday, January 17 for their swimwear presentation.
The event was held at the Jpark Island Resort and Waterpark, one of the island’s newest leisure attractions located in Lapu-Lapu City.
According to the report, organizers of the pageant said that the presentation will have no effect on the contestants’ total pageant score. As only 67 candidates out of 80 participated in the event.
Here’s the updated schedule of the Miss UNiverese activities that was released after some of the events were canceled due to bad weather.

After the swimwear competition, the Candidates are set to visit Baguio and Davao on January 18 and 19.
On January 21, will have a Fashion Show at the SMX Convention Center
The 65th Miss Universe Coronation Night will be held at SM Mall of Asia Arena and will be televised in local television networks on January 30.
