A Man Arrested At Cebu South Bus Terminal Over A Bomb Joke
The 25-year-old Joel Guillena was arrested by the Cebu police over a bomb joke, saying his bag was allegedly containing 5 kilograms of an explosive device.

Joel Guillena from Miputak, Dipolog City arrived at the south bus terminal in Cebu. When the guard at the bus terminal was about to inspect his belongings he suddenly said that his bag is containing 5 kilograms of an explosive device.
The authorities immediately arrested the 25-year-old man over his bomb joke. When the police arrested him, he explained that he was only joking and he was the joker among his friends. But the authorities still arrested him because of his inappropriate joke.
Joel’s joke could cause fear, panic, trouble, or false alarm to the people and authorities. His inappropriate joke can put the innocent people’s lives at stake. Injuries and panic may occur because of his bad joke, so Cebu police decided to arrest him.
