CCTV Footage Shows Abusive Off-Duty Manila Policeman Mauled An Innocent Old Man
A CCTV footage shows an abusive off-duty policeman attacks an innocent old man in Paco, Manila last January 08, 2017, has gone viral in the social media.
Dennis Javar, son of the victim posted the more than 1-minute video on his social media account. He wants justice for what his father experienced in the hand of the Manila policeman, through the help of social media.
The off-duty police officer was allegedly identified as PO1 Leo Tupas, who almost killed the defenseless father of Dennis. Tupas was caught on the CCTV footage mauling the defenseless old man until someone intervened to stop the police officer.
The video shows, that the police office was throwing a couple of punches into the old man’s body until he hit the chin of the old man causing him to fall on the ground. The police officer walked away after he saw the victim lying on the ground.
After few seconds, the victim starts to recover and attempted to stand but the policeman gets back and pushed the old man again on the ground. A woman attempted to intervene the cop from beating the defenseless old man.
The cop picked up the old man and pushed him helpless on his stomach into a prone position. The police officer grabs a pot and smashed into the victim’s head. The cop attempted another attack but the old was able to escape.

The family of the police officer, a two women, and the victim’s niece was able to stop the cop from smashing the old man with a bigger object. Several residents of the area also came out to see what’s happening.
The viral video has currently 653k views, 1, 240 shares, 2.2k likes, and nearly 2k comments. Netizens negatively react on that have seen on the mauling video and demanded the dismissal of the abusive cop from his post.
