Alunan Warns The Public Of LP’s Game: Alleged Plot To Oust Duterte
The controversial article was entitled as “THE OPPOSITION’S GAMEPLAN.”
Former DILG secretary Rafael Alunan III took to facebook to warn the public about the Liberal Party (LP) plotting to overthrow the president by destroying his image.
Alunan repost the intriguing article of Jose Alejandrino about the LP’s game plan.
The article talks about the plans of President Duterte’s enemy of ousting Duterte and his administration.
Alejandrino revealed in his article that there is already a pattern seen in the coup plot by saying,
“The pattern is clear. It began with attempts to discredit Duterte by Leila de Lima’s Senate committee exaggerating EJKs and violation of human rights to attract the attention of the foreign media, the Obama administration, the UN and human rights organizations abroad in order to bring down a swell of protest aimed at depicting Duterte as a mass murderer. The idea was not only to discredit Duterte but also to reduce his popularity.” Alejandrino wrote.
Despite the protest, President Duterte continues to maintains ‘very good’ satisfaction rating based on the latest surveys that prove that he still have the Filipino trust.
“Their efforts failed. Duterte continued to produce achievements. I had written much earlier that achievements would be the only way to maintain and raise his popularity. I was right. Latest survey polls show his trust rating at 80 and 90 percent,” Alejandro Wrote.
Alejandro also mentioned in his article about the Filipino-American community leader Loida Nicolas-Lewis. Alejandro wrote that Loida had been behind efforts to stir up the Obama State Department and UN human rights advocates.
Alejandro ended his article by saying, “there is a better way to beat the Opposition at its game. It is for the people to grant the president revolutionary powers without him asking for them.”
In a previous report, Communications Secretary Martin Andanar showed up to the media and confirmed that Malacañang already received the alarming report of the alleged plot against President Duterte.
But Andanar is confident that any move to overthrow the President will only fail because the majority of Filipinos are supporting the President and his administration.
Andanar also revealed that the Palace are now seriously and carefully investigating on the reported alarming news.
