Money Exchange Filipino Employee In Dubai Caught Stealing To Customer
A CCTV footage shows the video of Filipino employee stealing from his customer in a money exchange center in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.
Filipinos are known worldwide as one of the most honest and loyal people around the world for their unique and amazing personalities. They are popular around the world for being honest by bringing lost things to their respective owner. But this one has a different story.
An unidentified Filipino employee of a money exchange center in Dubai was caught stealing from a customer with an amount of Dh1, 000 or P12, 612. The CCTV footage of the stealing incident was taken last November 03, 2016.
In the footage, the Pinoy secretly drops the Dh1, 000 into the cash register from the Dh2, 000 handed to him by his Chinese customer. The Filipino told the Chinese customer that the given was short, so the customer handed him an another Dh1, 000.
A Jordanian administrative executive saw the Pinoy employee secretly drop the amount from the cash register, according to another report of “The National.” The executive saw everything when he watched the CCTV footage.
“He waited until the employee went to the toilet and took the money from the register. When we reviewed the footage, he confessed to taking the money and never paying it back,” said by the executive quoted by GMA.
The 35-year-old Filipino admitted that he steals the money during his hearing on Dubai Criminal Court. The judgment to the Filipino will be on January 16, 2017.
