Duterte On Battle Against Drugs: ‘Hindi tayo aatras diyan’

Pres. Rodrigo Duterte already has the final and validated ‘narco list’ to be submitted to NSC this week.

DUTERTE – Pres. Rodrigo ‘Digong’ Duterte is set to turn over the final ‘narco list’ to National Security Council (NSC) this week. The said list has already been validated.

Pres. Duterte has always taken the battle against illegal drugs as one of the focuses of his administration. The Duterte Adminstration and the Philippine National Police have worked together in cleaning the Philippines from illegal drugs.

The 71-year-old President has always been vocal in his desire to end the drug problem in the country in his term as he sees it as a problem that could go on and on for years if not addressed by the present administration.

Criticisms on his battle against illegal drugs never fail to get feed backs from the 71-year-old President. Based in previous news report, Pres. Duterte has even throw an intense statement to United States Pres. Barack Obama for criticizing his campaign.

Recently, a news report in Manila Bulletin entailed that Pres. Duterte is already set to submit the final and validated ‘narco list’ to the NSC within this week.

Based on the news report, the 71-year-old President shared details about the list in his speech during the San Beda Law grand alumni homecoming at the Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in Taguig City on Saturday.

He expressed that Senate President Aquilino ‘Koko’ Pimentel III and House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez are going to be given copies of it according to the report.

He has also expressed his desire to save the future generation from disasters that might be caused by drugs as he said, “Let us formulate (a plan) on how to prevent disaster for the next generation.”

Pres. Duterte also shared about the horror he felt when he received the very thick final report from Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) which made him say to himself that it is really going to be a big problem and how names of suspected drug personalities seem to appear in every report.

“Believe me, until the last pusher is out of the streets and the last drug lord is exterminated, it will last until the last day of my term… hindi tayo aatras diyan (we will not step back),” the President said.
