Justice Sec. Aguirre confirms that DOJ has already issued a subpoena for Sen. De Lima and others.
SUBPOENA – The Department of Justice has already issued a subpoena that directs Sen. Leila De Lima to attend the preliminary investigation.
Since the last recent months, Sen. Leila De Lima has been facing a lot of allegations and issues. The undeniable rift between her and Pres. Rodrigo ‘Rody’ Duterte has sparked a lot of headlines and talks over the social media.
One of the firsts allegations that she had previously faced is regarding her former driver, Ronnie Dayan. Pres. Duterte aired out that Dayan’s the Senator’s lover aside from being her driver.
In a previous news report, the Senator broke her silence regarding the issue. She admitted her relationship with her driver and shared details on how they had an affair.
The Senator counts it as part of her ‘frailties as a woman’ that is why she fell in love with her former driver-bodyguard.
