Supermoon Amazes Thousands Of People Around The World

The supermoon did not fail the thousands of skygazers around the world after it went closest to the Earth on November 14 night.

Thousands of people from around the world looked at the sky on Monday night, November 14, and stared at the amazing view of a supermoon closest to the Earth in almost seven decades.

When the clock struck 7 p.m., all binoculars, telescopes and camera lenses sticked to one spot in the sky, hoping for dramatic photos and spectacular surf of the supermoon.

In photos posted in social networking sites and the internet, the netizens headed to high-rise buildings, ancient forts, beaches and even idle fields to get the best shot of their camera life.

In one of the photos taken in Beijing in China, a passing jet photobombed the spectacular supermoon, the brightest in almost 69 years in a treat for star watchers all around the world.

According to National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the supermoon appears when the moon becomes full on the same day when it reaches perigee or the point when the moon is closest to Planet Earth.
