PAGASA Wants Public Apology From Producer Of ABS-CBN “Goin’ Bulilit
PAGASA employees demands a public apology from the producers of the ABS-CBN comedy show “Goin’ Builit” over a bad joke on TV.
Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) weathermen were hurt over a bad joke made by a gag show on television featuring children. The joke was alleged insulted the weather bureau and the state weathermen upon the weather forecast.
PAGASA employees were represented by the Philippine weatherman Employees Association (PWEA) and demands a public apology from the producer of the comedy show “Goin’ Bulilit” of ABS-CBN for the bad joke that exposed insults to the agency.
“It did not only damage Pagasa’s reputation but also put public safety at risk as it sends the wrong signal that the agency’s forecasts are not reliable therefore not worth believing,” said by PWEA president Ramon Agustin on Monday (November 14, 2016) quoted by Inquirer.
