“The Simpsons” Predicted Donald Trump’s Election 16 Years Ago

Although it can be taken as a mere coincidence, some suspect that The Simpsons had warned the American people about Trump’s rise to politics.

Every kid born and grew in the 1990s have watched the cartoon series The Simpsons and surely at year 2000, many have watched the episodes which actually happened in real life in the later years – including the election of the business mogul Donald Trump.

Sixteen years before the billionaire won the seat at the White House, The Simpsons predicted his controversial victory in a satirical manner.

In the witty episode entitled, “Bart To The Future”, which was broadcast in early 2000, depicted an “abominable” reign for President Lisa Simpson after she succeeded Outgoing President Trump.

The matriarch of the The Simpsons says: “We have inherited quite a budget crunch from President Trump”, and asked Secretary Van Houten how bad the problem was.
