No Segregation, No Collection Policy On Waste Management Will Be Implemented In Puerto Princesa
Stricter waste management in Puerto Princesa will be implemented through no segregation, no collection policy that will start on November 15, 2016.
Solid Waste Management (SWM) launch a no segregation, no collection staunch policy in Puerto Princesa. Through this policy, the residents are encouraged to segregate their waste properly and it will also teach people to have discipline when it comes to garbage disposal.
Ecological Solid Waste Act of 2000 or the Section 48 of Republic Ac t 9003 is the rule that will impose P500, 000 penalties and will stop collecting unsorted garbage for those residents who will not properly segregate their garbage as the National Solid Waste Management Commission warned the City Solid Waste Management.
