Philippines Need China’s Help Economically, Duterte Says
President Rodrigo Duterte admits that the Philippines need the help of China for the economic growth of the country, in his statement on Chine National TV.
Duterte described his state visit to China by saying he edifies the moment of his presidency to open and continue the friendship, cooperation, and enhancement of relation between the two countries.
The president also wants to abolish dark spots which he calls as gray areas in the relationship between China and Philippines. Rodrigo said he wants to establish more cohesive and stronger bond between the two countries who recently resolve the issues regarding the disputed waters.
He also said that the Philippines have many allied countries including United States (US). Recently, the president launched a series of tirades against the US due to its criticism of Duterte’s war on drugs amid the increasing case of Extra Judicial Killings (EJK) in the country.
