UNOCHA Exposes Aid To Yolanda Survivors Reached P41.8 Billion

UNOCHA recently exposed the aid gained by the survivors of Typhoon Yolanda from the international community.

UNOCHA – United Nations Office for Coordination has recently revealed the total amount extended by other countries and organizations to Philippines when Typhoon Yolanda left massive destruction to the country.

Typhoon Yolanda is undeniably one of the super typhoons that has left a huge part of the country in great destruction. Not only destruction has it caused but as well as lost of lives.

In a recent news report, a total of 6, 201 lives were claimed to be lost due to the natural calamity that has tested the nation as it centered on Visayas in November of 2013.

The aftermath of the typhoon was hard for the country – most especially for the survivors. Starting again became a great challenge for the families whom some lost their loved ones, livelihood, and everything they have.
