Mar Roxas, Celebrity Endorsers Allegedly Paid P1.2B From Yolanda Funds
Celebrity endorsers of Mar Roxas during his presidential campaign was allegedly paid P1.2 billion from Yolanda funds, Solon says.
In Bacolod City, a congressman quit from Mar’s party because of luxurious spending of people’s money he said in DYLR, a local radio station in Bacolod City on Thursday (October 06, 2016).
“Our local politicians who needed funds for their campaign were left behind because the party had prioritized Mar Roxas and Leni Robredo. The overspending on useless celebrity endorsements is just unacceptable”, said by Solon quoted by netizens ph.
According to Cristy Fermin, a veteran talk show host, and a reporter said that celebrities who endorsed Mar and Leni have been paid as much as P20 million that contradicts Mar statement that celebrities willfully and voluntarily endorsed him without being paid.
