Open Letter To Critics Shame-Campaigning Duterte
Shame-Campaigning – “Have you experienced being shamed for your support of Duterte? I have.” This is what a post reads on a lengthy open letter made by a President Duterte supporter on Facebook.
A certain Facebook user named Krizette Laureta Chu, recently wrote a post on social media condemning the acts being done by the critics of Duterte, whom she said were expressing their disapproval with Duterte supporters. According to Chu, it is a “shame-campaigning”.
Chu said on her post that the tactics being done by the Duterte critics have been doing what they can to let Duterte supporters conform with their beliefs and most of the time, there are being pursued to “feel the heat”.
She also cited an experience wherein her friend doctor, according to her got a call from an anti-Duterte doctor (a certain Doctor A) saying that the “doctors must preserve life and she would like to see doctors who are pro-Duterte stripped of their licenses”.
Chu has mentioned more examples and situations regarding what anti-Duterte critics have been doing to his supporters. She added that there is no shameful thing than giving up one’s personal beliefs.
“Not fighting for what you believe in is the MOST SHAMEFUL thing of all,” she said.
