The issue of drug abuse is one of the biggest problems in the country. Using of illegal drugs can lead the individuals to make a crime due to the effect of drugs or because of addiction.
EJK incidents in the country were happening in the country because of Duterte’s campaign against illegal drugs. Almost 3, 000 suspected drug pushers were reported involved in the EJK incidents three months since he becomes the Philippine President.
The president has been criticized for EJK incidents happening in the country regarding the anti-illegal drug campaign. Those victims of EJK are those who fight back at police officers when they resist being arrested.
