Oust-Duterte Plot To Happen In January?
Malacañang said that there will be an oust-Duterte plot to happen by January, and some Filipino-Americans would be involved in it.
In a report by Manila Bulletin, Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar declared that the action to ‘overthrow’ the President won’t succeed as the majority of the people supports him.
According to the report, Andanar said that surveys show that there are “more than 90 percent of the people support the President.”
Andanar said that a Cabinet member heard of the “Oust Digong” plot while on a visit to New York. According to the Cabinet member, there are some Filipino-Americans were behind a plot that the Cabinet member overheard the said plot in a teleconference.
The report added that the said oust-Duterte plot will be done by the plotters in January, as Andanar said.
According to him, the Malacañang Palace is not taking the report lightly but, it needs to be verified. He added that the destabilization words against Duterte will end up depending on the evidence that the opposition has.
“It is a concern for the government, and it should be a concern for the nation because it’s a destabilization talk,” he said as quoted in the report.
Meanwhile, Duterte already accused the “yellow” forces, seemingly pertaining to the Liberal Party, of plotting the remove him from office and take over by starting the alleged extrajudicial kil1ings (EJK) on the administration’s war on illegal drugs.
In earlier reports, Senator Leila De Lima, a known member of the Liberal Party, the former Chairperson of the Committee on Justice and Human Rights have started the Senate probe on alleged (EJK).
But on Monday, De Lima was removed from her post as Senator Manny Pacquiao moved a motion to vacant the Committee’s chairpersonship and membership.
There are 16 senators who voted for the motion.
