Military Follow Orders, Civilians Are Lazy, Duterte Says

Military follow orders immediately while civilians were difficult to carry out instructions President Rodrigo Duterte said on his meeting with scout rangers on Thursday (September 15, 2016).

In Thursday as the president speak before the scout ranger in Bulacan. Duterte mentioned that based on his experience military was quick on following instructions while the civilians were difficult to carry out instructions. This is one of the reasons why Duterte hires more military in his administration rather than civilians.

“I’m not trying to, you know, derogate the other employees of the government. But these civilians, they’re so difficult to give orders to. ‘Tapolan’ in Bisaya, lazy. You can’t get them to move quickly, especially during times of emergency,” said by Duterte quoted by Inquirer.
