Former DOJ staff of senator De Lima denied the accusations against her of having ties to the illegal drug trade in the New Bilibid Prison.
According to a report, another former staff of Senator Leila de Lima prove his innocence to the authorities and denied the accusations against the senator.
The former DOJ staff of Leila de Lima proved his innocence after he went to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to undergo a lie detector. This was after his name was dragged into the drug allegations.

The NBI confirmed that the former Staff of the Senator passed the test. According to a recent new report, the former DOJ staff of De Lima was named as Jonathan Caranto.
Jonathan Caranto denied the allegations against Senator Leila de Lima being linked to the illegal drugs activities in the country. He was cleared by Banco de Oro of owning a bank account with millions of pesos.
“Jonathan Caranto’s [tests] revealed that there were no specific reactions indicative of deception to pertinent questions relevant to instant investigation,” the NBI stated.
