On Saturday dawn, Duterte declared a “state of lawlessness” or “state of lawless violence” in the Philippines, after he visited the site of the incident.

(We should support our president… We should be courageous at this hour. We cannot retreat at this time.)

(We should be more aggressive, more importantly, we should be united at this time. Let us show our love for our country through unity as this was an attack on every Filipino.)

(Let us go beyond political affiliations. Let us think of ways to help our countrymen.)
