Senator Leila De Lima cleared out the issue relating her with the drug syndicates at New Bilibid Prison.
Senator Leila De Lima is currently facing a lot of issues as evident in the news headlines after several exchanges of sides between her and President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
Along the several issues raised due to the conflict of the President and the Senator, speculations from ordinary citizens could not be avoided. As long as there were no presentation of evidences, none can say which one is true and which is not.
One of the major issue that Sen. De Lima is facing right now is linking her with the people behind the bars of New Bilibid Prison.
According to a recent news report in Phil Star Global, the Senator expressed the untruthfulness of the issue.
“Foremost of the lies, is yung sinasabing na may nangongolekta para sa akin sa Bilibid. That is an absolute lie,” Sen. De Lima said.
