34 Kg Pearl Surrendered in Palawan Believed As the World’s Largest

34 kilogram pearl found in Palawan was surrendered to Puerto Princesa Tourism Office and it was believed to be the largest pearl in the world.

Aileen Amurao, an officer of the City Tourism said that for a long time this organic gem has been hiding in the oceans of Palawan. They were glad that this extraordinary size of pearl was surrendered to them by the one who found it.

The tourism office of Puerto Princesa, Palawan was expecting that the existence of this large pearl will attract more tourists in their place. Amurao also said that she discouraged those people who looking for this kind of organic gem to stop disrupting the biodiversity of Palawan.

She also said that removing those giant clams from the sea when searching for pearl or any gems can disturb the wildlife system of sea creature in Palawan. One netizen said that the area where the giant pearl was found is a restricted and an off limit area.
