P1 adjustment during the rush hour.
P1 adjustment, Kapit national president Vigor Mendoza urged the LTFRB to implement during the morning rush hour (5 a.m. to 8 a.m.) and afternoon (4 p.m. to 7 p.m.).
According to a report by the Inquirer.net, the Kapit national president Vigor Mendoza asked the for the adjustment of the fare for the first kilometers during the rush hour. Mendoza added that the “Kilusan sa Pagbabago ng Industriya ng Transportasyon” or the KAPIT urged the LTFRB for the resolution of its petition for a P1 fare increase in jeepneys during rush hours.
LTFRB was for the fare adjustment of P1 that would serve as an “incentive” for drivers to work during rush hours. This would allow more vehicles to ferry the passengers and avoid long queues and passenger waiting time.
