European Leaders Promised Bullet Train In PH
European Leaders Promised 9.1 Trillion Euro – There are reports that have said that Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will be connected by a fast and efficient bullet train system as part of what European leaders promised 9.1 trillion euro infrastructure project.
In a report by Eagle News, Ret. Col. Rodrigo Bonifacio, a member of the Duterte administration think tank said that the project was art of the infrastructure project promised by European leaders.
The said bullet train to connect the Philippines together will be financed by the European Financial Intermediary. It was also said that the construction of the project was highly anticipated as it will help boost the economy of the country.
If the project would be approved and implemented by the Duterte Administration, the Filipino people would be able to travel safely on different parts of the country without using common modes of transportation such as airplanes and ships.
A bullet train like in Japan, runs in a maximum of 240–320 km/h. It would be a real new line of high-speed trains if implemented by the Philippine government.
According to Bonifacio, these European Union investors already attempted to present the said project during the former Aquino administration but, the negotiations didn’t pursue as according to Bonifacio as claimed by the Europeans, there is about forty percent kickback being asked from them.
But now, with the new administration, Bonifacio said that the investors will have it pursued.
