Manny Pacquiao’s First Privilege Speech at the Senate

On Monday (August 08, 2016) the first privilege speech of Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao was delivered at the Philippine senate. The Philippine boxing icon is in favor of President Duterte’s revival of death penalty in our country.

The former eight-division world boxing champion, two-term congressman, and as a member of the House of Representatives delivered his first privilege speech at the senate on Monday. As we remember the congressman performed not satisfactory as politician. He was elected in the senate last election on May 2016.

The privilege speech contains political campaign with mixed Biblical passages. His speech started in a dramatic introduction with the theme of revival of death penalty in the Philippines.

Earlier President Duterte announced that he wanted to revive this type of penalty in our country. Related to the plan of the president the senator is in favor of his plan for him it is moral, lawful, and sanctioned governmental actions for those who will violate the law.
