Nakao Re-elects as President by ADB Board For Its Second Term

On Friday (August 05, 2016) Takehiko Nakao was re-elected again as president by Asian Development Bank on its second term.

Nakao a 60 years old man said it is an honor for him to have another five years on service. ADB members mandate Nakao to be the President of ADB.

The company aims to help Asia and Pacific to be more inclusive and sustainable as it stands above other companies and as primary development institution. The ADB president assured that he will give himself full in serving the company and continue leading it to success.

His predecessor Haruhiko Kuroda gives the responsibility of being a president of the bank to Nakao last April 2013. The new president serves the remaining three years of his predecessor in the bank in Japan.

His second term will start on November 24, 2016 as the ninth president of the band. The reelection happened last April and no one opposed the election as he announced his intentions for the bank.
