Joe Biden doubtful about Trump’s making America ‘great again’
American Vice-President Joe Biden is pessimistic about Republican Party’s presidential candidate Donald Trump’s campaign slogan of making America ‘great again’.
As he endorsed Hillary Clinton’s presidential nomination to the Democratic Party Convention, Biden told the party members that Trump cannot be trusted with the presidency as he has no idea of how to make the country great.
“He has no clue about what makes America great. Actually, he has no clue – period.”, the outgoing vice president said.
The vice president cited Trump’s cynicism is evident in the latter’s reality TV slogan, ‘You’re fired’, saying there can never be pleasure of being fired.
Biden also added that to elect the billionaire as Barack Obama’s successor in the White House is posing threats and uncertainty in the ‘now great’ standing of the super power nation.
He insisted that the tycoon does not have what it takes to be elected president coming November 8.
Also in attendance to the convention was former Central Information Agency (CIA) Director and now Defense Secretary Leon Panetta who said that Trump’s alliance with Russia is enough to discount him from holding the presidential post.
Panetta referred to the bigtime businessman’s appeal to Russia in an event in Miami earlier that day where Trump urged Moscow o find and release the alleged thousand of emails that Clinton did not hand over to US officials as part of an investigation.
“Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing,” Trump told reporters.
Trump continues to lose support even in the industry where he is moving.
Michael Bloomberg, a businessman far wealthier than Trump, expressed support to Clinton saying that she is ‘sane and competent’ while he denounced the Republican nominee as “dangerous” and a “risky, reckless choice”.
