Duterte trust rating received an ‘excellent’ based on the Social Weather Stations Survey.
Duterte trust rating is excellent after he received a positive 79 net rating and 100 percent of respondent said that they are aware of knowing the President.
Rodrigo “Rody” Roa Duterte, known as “The Punisher”, was among the longest-serving mayors in the Philippines. Over a period of 20 years, he turned Davao City from the murder capital of the Philippines to the most peaceful city in Southeast Asia and it ranked world’s fourth safest place.
May 30, 2016, the 16th congress of the Philippines proclaimed Duterte as the President of the Country after he topped the official count by the Congress of the Philippines on May 27, 2016 with 16,601,997 votes. Duterte became the oldest person ever elected in the presidency at the age of 79.
According to the SWS survey, President Duterte gained positive 79 net rating during the first survey taken since he assumed the presidency. The Survey gave the president a positive 79 net trusting based on the 84 percent of those polled said they had “much trust”, 11 percent were undecided, and 5 percent had “little trust”.
The SWS also reported that 1200 respondent said they are aware about the Newly elected President. Duterte’s first trust-rating as president was comparable to the former President Benigno Aquino III’s who was rated “excellent” at +83 after the 2010 elections.
The SWS’s public trust rating survey was taken from June 24 to June 27 using face-to-face interviews among 1,200 adult respondents nationwide and the survey results were posted on the Business World website.
