PRC Region 6 In Ilo-Ilo City Alleged Poor Service?

PRC Region 6 – Photos have been circling the social media regarding the alleged unchanged situation in the office of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Region 6.

In the photo posted by Bombo Radyo Philippines on their Facebook page, it is said that the employees were unapproachable and are not doing their job well.

If the alleged complaints were true, this is not in line with the mandate of President Rodrigo Duterte to make the transaction and services of government offices and employees to be fast and easier. The Commission is where professionals go and process their professional license in order to have more credibility to work in their profession.

The Professional Regulation Commission is mandated to “regulate and supervise the practice of the professionals who constitute the highly skilled manpower of the country.”

In a report by Davao Today, President Duterte said that government employees must prove that they deserve the salary given to them that came from the money of the people.

Duterte even made a statement regarding the behavior of government employees.

“Yung mga nasa posisyon, wag kayong umasta na parang sino. Be courteous to everybody, kahit wala kang ngipin, save money palagay ka ng pustiso, magpalagay ka ng SMILE. [ Those who are in (government) positions, don’t act like somebody. Be courteous to everybody, even you don’t have teeth, save money and put denture, put a smile.]

It the Philippines, it’s been a problem on the general public when processing anything in government offices. This is because of the “unpleasant” approach and the delayed processing of some government employees.

What might be the future of the current government if the people sitting in these government offices were like this?
