Former President Aquino Had List Of “Drug” Mayors

President Benigno Simeon “Noynoy” Aquino III had the list of the 23 mayors who are involved in protecting illegal drug syndicate operating in the country, unfortunately the government lost all legal approach including cases filed against these officials former director general of PDEA Dionisio Santiago said.

Meanwhile the former PDEA director, who also served as the chief of staff of the AFP, said that both Aquino and Paquito Ochoa Jr his executive secretary were provided with the local government officials linked to drug syndicate.

It is said the same list in now in the hands of President Duterte which he will reveal to the public soon.

As he was heading the Bureau of Corrections, he said that his agency did all means as necessary to fight against some officials who were linked to drugs but saddened that all the cases were simple dismissed either by the prosecutor or the judge.

“We simply lost the cases. After we were able to arrest their people who implicated them, we could not do anything when the case had been dumped,” he noted.

He proposes that PDEA should be abolish so that task of going after individuals who are involved in the drug syndicate will be the sole responsibility of the Philippine National Police.

Duterte had identified five police generals who he claimed were involved in the illegal drug trade.

Santiago said that the anti-drug operatives also suspect that the Chinese government may be behind in the reproduction of illegal drugs in the country.
