Who is really the person behind the “August 21, 1983, incident of former Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr.”? This is a question that remains unanswered even up to this day, the missing piece of the puzzle is still nowhere to be found and it is more than 3 years unknown already.
Many names got involved in this incident – both obscure and famous – have been accused of the crime, but the real puppeteer was never been known. Ninoy’s incident is no doubt one of the Philippine’s greatest unsolved mysteries, made even more blurry because of various conspiracy theories.
Son and namesake of the most popular president in the Philippine History, Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., said in an interview that his father has nothing to do with Ninoy’s assassination.
In an interview on DZMM’s Ikaw na ba? Para sa Pamilyang Pilipino last January 21, 2016, BBM sait it was never his father’s character to have ordered the assassination of Ninoy.
“Hindi. Hindi. Alam ninyo, ‘yung aking ama, hindi ganun ang gawain niya eh,” he said.
Everyone knows the rivalry between Marcos and Aquino during their time, but it is hard to believe that their rivalry would end with the loss of someone’s life, BBM said.

“Kahit na sila ay magkatunggali, never naman umabot sa ganyan. Siyempre magdedebate sila, kung anuman, nag-uusap sila, pero hindi ganyan,” BBM stressed.
“Parang hindi ako makapaniwala. Wala akong nakikita na magsasabi siya ang nag-utos,” he added.
BBM also lamented the even though 2 Aquinos have already been elected as president, still the case remains unsolved.
He also highlighted that his father remains the best president this country has ever had.
“Mahirap ‘yung gumagaya dahil pag gumagaya ka, never kang kasinggaling ng ginagaya mo. So dapat ang gaiwn mo ‘yung pinakamagaling na sarili mo,” BBM pointed.
