Passenger complaints rude ticketing booth employee and a conductor of Ceres bus.
Passenger complaints about the rude and disrespectful manner of the Ceres bus employee, wrote a letter to the company concerned.
The passenger was Christian Reyes and in detail written in his letter what the incident brought to him that day. The worst thing highlighted was, because the conductor has no change with his 100 peso bill, dropped him off the bus a city before his destination.
Here is what the letter reads:
I am Christian Reyes, 24 years of age and a resident of Brgy. Guinhalaran, Silay City. I am writing this letter to file a formal complaint to your office regarding multiple incidents that happened yesterday in the new Ceres Terminal. I felt that I was not treated with respect by two of your employees.
I arrived at the new Ceres North Terminal around 12 noon yesterday and spoke with a lady at the ticketing booth. The lady asked me if I have 12 pesos because she does not have any change for my 100 peso bill. I told the lady that this is the only amount I have in my purse. She kept on asking me the same thing multiple times which I already find annoying. Then, she told me to just wait until she gets a change for my money. Her tone was rude and not apologetic at all. I am under the impression that your company should have a change for a simple 100php bill. What makes it worse is that the lady beside her does have smaller bills (20php bills and 50php bills).
She could have attempted to look for another options for me as I am a usual passenger of Ceres and my time is precious as well. To end our conversation, she advised me that if I’m in hurry, I could just proceed inside the bus and pay to the bus conductor instead.
I went inside the bus as per instruction of the lady from the ticketing booth. The bus just took off when the conductor asked me for my ticket. I told him about what happened at the ticketing booth and the lady’s instruction. The conductor also insisted the same thing- for me to pay just 12php. Since I don’t have ay change with me, the conductor told me to get off the bus. I already stopped answering back because I was too upset about the situation but he kept on telling me the same thing- for me to get off the bus. I was dropped along Talisay City. I asked for the conductor’s name but it was not clear enough.
I am positive that you will find time to investigate this matter as I was deeply disrespected and humiliated by your employees yesterday. All I did was to just pay with the only money I have and follow instructions from your people. What’s strange is that both of them were equally rude and arrogant on different situations. I don’t understand why they acted that way because I did not, in any way , respond in a rude manner the entire time. I know you have the capacity to identify the lady at the ticketing booth and the bus conductor for yesterday’s shift 06/04/2016, around 12-12:30PM. I will continue to follow up on this issue until this is addressed. Thank you!

Mr. Reyes said that the letter was received by the office concerned. Meanwhile his post starts to trend with comments sympathetic enough, sharing their own bad experiences with the Ceres Bus.
i know this guy personally..i am such pleased that he dealt those disrespectful personnel professionally, because he is indeed professional..last two nights a ticketer my my voice and pronunciation of Guinhalaran..i am not saying this in general but most of them were bastos
I was disappointed early this morning because of this ceres liner conductor going to iloilo who really makes me upset he has very rude towards 1student who was just telling her change is not exact .He shouted the schoolgirl and he even drop the girl (In the Road)coz he got angry. He said bad words and even bully her(Bobo) in front of us. I want to shout him big time but im scared coz his eyes were red and even the driver shut his mouth. I dont like to conclude his not on drugs and he was just tired but the way he act is not good..

Pls Ceres Liner seminar your driver’s ang conductor …….I was in Batad Iloilo along the highway in front of INC Idtopped your Liner ….the driver stopped but when I want to get up the driver run the bus I might fell down…the Ceres was with namae…Ajuy,Sara… Balasan at 20.30 am passed by Batad …..when I reached Balasan I took pic of the Ceres and the conductor was talking nonsense…..the number of Ceres is 5363……pls give attention I will report this to your office in Bacolod …..I am 67 yrs old ,fr.Canlaon…thank you Evangeline Laloy
Sorry the number of the bus is 6353….10.30 passed by Batad INC…hihway……..the Route ares is Ajuy…Sara ..Balasan………August 21,2022. ..10.30 am……pls palihog ang conductor daw babaye ang baba ……….ako senior….67 yrs old ……Wala daw siya nahadluk sang complain ko Inyo….Hari siya …..sang Ceres Liner……..
