Kristine Hermosa to return to showbiz via GMA.
One of the most beautiful women in the entertainment industry Kristine Hermosa explained why she choose GMA-7 over ABS-CBN. After being away from the spotlight for years, she will return to showbiz through the Kapuso network.
Fans are excited as the “Pangako Sa ‘Yo” star will be seen on television again via the newest GMA-7 sitcom “Hay Bahay!”
During a press conference held on Monday, Hermosa explained that she received a lot of offers from her former homenetwork. However, she turned it down because it would make her sacrifice her time for her family.
“Matagal ko nang ipinagdasal ito, eh madaming offer ‘yung ABS sa akin dati pero parang hindi ko nararamdaman masyado eh.
“So, sabi ko I want something na hindi ko masa-sacrifice ‘yung time ko with family and ‘yun hindi ko mapapabayaan obligasyon ko siyempre bilang asawa at saka nanay ng mga anak ko,” she said.
The 32-year-old actress revealed that she doesn’t have a contract with ABS-CBN even before she is doing a soap with the network. According to Hermosa, she told the network that she will doing a project with GMA.
Hermosa, who is married to Oyo Boy Sotto, stressed that she wants to do something different, adding that she wants to do comedy not drama.
While Kristine Hermosa admitted that she is excited for the show, she also knows that a lot of people will not be happy since she will be appearing in the GMA show.
