The Cavs now face a 2-Game deficit in the race to seven series of the 2015-2016 NBA Finals. In Game 2, the Cavaliers suffered a humiliating 110-77 loss against the defending champions Golden State Warriors.

One thing that can really be seen in Game 2 is that the veteran Andre Iguodala has been assigned to guard Lebron James and it really affects how the Cavs are playing since James has been doing almost everything on the court.

In a report and analysis of ESPN, Iguodala’s presence resulted to James’ seven turnovers. According to the analysis of Tom Haberstroh, the assignment of Iguodala to James really slows down the phase of the Cavs.

“The Warriors have the key in slowing down [Cleveland] dramatically, assigning veteran Andre Iguodala to guard LeBron James,” Haberstroh said.

Haberstroh added that the long arms of Iguodala and relentless persistence of defense gives a real hard time to James. The analyst also added that James has been in a hard time throwing assists to teammates when Iguodala’s there.

“Often Iguodala prevents James from even touching the ball. That forces the other Cavs to take the shots they don’t even wanted… Simply put, when Iguodala’s on LeBron, the Cavs aren’t the Cavs anymore,” said Haberstroh pertaining to the difference of having Andre Iguodala guarding Lebron James.

In the coming Game 3, James told ESPN that it’s a “do or di3” game for the Cavs recognizing how the Warriors have been playing in the regular season with 73-9 and now have advanced to 2-0 in the NBA Finals.

In the report, it is still uncertain if Kevin Love would be playing due to health issues.

“So we’re going to come in and give everything that we’ve got and leave it on the floor,” said James.

The Warriors and the Cavaliers will be facing tomorrow in Game 3 at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cavs ground.
