Watch: Full Speech of Mayor Duterte During DU31 Victory Party (Highlights)

Before the highly anticipated speech of Pres. Rody Duterte he urged everybody who listen first to his theme song which according to the President, it is his guidelines and will be used as guidelines for the Filipino people. According to the estimates of Police authorities in Davao City more than 500,000 supporters of Mayor Duterte attended the event.

The song was originally composed by the veteran Filipino music icon, Freddie Aguilar who is considered as one of the most prominent fixtures during the campaign period alongside the Davao City Mayor. Freddie Aguilar failed to attend the DU31 Victory Party because of prior commitments but he already extends his congratulatory message to Pres. Duterte.

Mayor Duterte also acknowledge some of the most prominent politicians who personally visited and congratulated him in Davao City. The incoming president revealed that he is a center-left socialist and denied the allegations that he was a member of the Communist Party.

President Duterte also revealed some of his plans for the Philippines as the country’s next president as he noted that the country has the money but it was not managed well by the previous administrations.

4. First Priority is the DOH, used the PAGCOR funds and realligned with the Health Department
5. Used PAGCOR funds to realligned also with the DepEd
6. Already started solving problems
7. Introduced his Cabinet members who came from the Left and the Military
8. Explains the supposed appointment of Jun Evasco
9. Plans to investigate the problems in the Mining Industry and the DENR
10 Encourages the four Generals to resign from office before he seats as President
