Oklahoma City Thunder Wins Game 3, Leads over GSW 2-1
The Oklahoma City Thunder bounced back after losing to the Golden State Warriors in the Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals by finishing Game 3 133-105 where OKC took the 2-1 series lead.
According to a report by SBNation, Kevin Durant really pumped the scorecards finishing 33 points while the electrifying Russell Westbrook contributed a massive 30 points, including 12 assists and eight rebounds.
Not only that, other teammates like Andre Roberson and Dion Waiters also contributed in the win by giving 13 points individually.
Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry finished with 24 points while Klay Thompson ended with 18 points but still came short to the victory.
According to ESPN, the game went back and forth in the first 18 minutes when another unexpected thing happened to Draymond Green and Steven Adams again. Green had another below-the-belt hit. Green was then was called with a flagrant foul 1.
“I thought it would probably get rescinded (the Flagrant One call). It was a follow through on a shot,” Green said. “I’m not trying to kick somebody … in the midsection,” said Green in an interview quoted in USA Today.
After the incident, the Thunder did a 24-5 run.
In the half-time, the Thunder just roared with the biggest lead of the game of 41. It is also the biggest deficit the Warriors had in the season.
The next game, Game 4 will be on the home-court of the Warriors on Wednesday (Manila Time) and the GSW led by the season’s MVP, Steph Curry is expected a revenge.
